Tunde Arisekola is currently the Officer-in-Charge and Acting Head of AMDC. He  holds a B.sc. (Hons) in Geology and M.Sc in Mineral Exploration - Geochemistry Option and spent over 34 years at the Nigerian Geological Survey Agency, where upon ending his tenure as Director, National Geosciences Research Laboratories in Kaduna – he joined AMDC as Senior Advisor, Geological and Minerals Information and AMREC-PARC.  Tunde M. Arisekola has participated in a number of projects that include limestone investigation,airborne geophysical survey, pegmatite belt exploration, geochemical mapping, gold exploration and kaolin resource evaluation. Some of his research work includes mineralogical and geochemical characteristics of pegmatite bodies, geochemical mapping of Iwo/Oyo sheets in South Western Nigeria, developing geosciences skills in Nigeria, Multi-element Stream Sediment Geochemistry of South-Western and Central Nigeria and the fundamentals of the United Nations Framework Classification for the classification of fossil energy, mineral projects as well as renewable energy projects. His most recent publications include co-authoring the African Minerals and Energy Classification Management System (AMREC) as well as the Pan African Resource Reporting Code and its Training Modules; Geological Evaluation and Industrial Quality Assessment of Limestone and Associated Shale of Onigbedu Area South Western Nigeria; Pegmatites of parts of Osun State, Geology and Geochemical Characteristics.
