Tamsin has deep experience in African financial markets, specialising in capital market development. Her career spans banking, professional services, and capital markets. She spent time at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange, where she worked in business development and later headed the Sustainability Division, in a consulting capacity. She is committed to building African markets through training, strategic advisory, and policy advice. Her network includes governments, regulators, DFIs, exchanges, corporates, and advisory firms. Clients include FMDQ Securities Exchange, Chapel Hill Denham, 8Hundred, Boundless World, and the Gordon Institute of Business Science. She has worked with leading law firms such as Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, G. Elias, and Webber Wentzel, and has supported the African Crowdfunding Association on regulatory policy. She writes on pan-African issues for Currency News and recently contributed to Rand Merchant Bank’s “Continent at a Crossroads” report. Tamsin studied English, International Relations and Law at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg and holds an MBA from GIBS, Pretoria University’s business school. She is currently serving as the President of the South Africa - Nigeria Business Chamber.
