Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
A geologist with over 22 years of experience in the exploration and development of gold and base metals projects within the Arabian Shield. He has held several leadership positions at the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma’aden) and contributed directly to a number of significant mineral discoveries in the Kingdom. He later founded and managed a consultancy company specialized in providing geological and mining advisory services to both the public and private sectors. Currently, Mr, Al Harbi serves as Acting Assistant Deputy Minister for Mineral Resources and Land Affairs at Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, where he plays a key role in shaping strategies to unlock Saudi Arabia’s mineral potential and advance sustainable development of the Kingdom’s mineral resources.
Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Geology and Mineral Resources Exploration – King Abdulaziz University
