Grant Crosse is the Managing Director at MetCon and part of a new generation of leaders in the mining industry focused on building smarter, more resilient businesses for Africa’s resource economy. Working within a family-owned precious metals company, Grant combines hands-on operational insight with a strong belief that mining success depends on people, partnerships and execution — not just assets. Over recent years, he has helped modernise MetCon’s operations, investing in technology, systems and talent to improve efficiency, accuracy and customer service across the value chain. His work is driven by a desire to simplify complexity, close gaps between industry players, and create practical solutions that benefit both miners and jewellery partners. Grant is passionate about adding value to African minerals, supporting local consumption and only then, exporting into the rest of the world.
