Bright Rwodzi is the technical sales executive at Dunlop Belting Products and a seasoned technical and manufacturing professional with extensive experience in the heavy-duty manufacturing, mining, and bulk materials handling sectors. He brings more than two decades of hands-on expertise in conveyor belt design, manufacturing, monitoring systems, and performance optimisation, supported by a strong background in applied chemistry, quality assurance, and lean manufacturing principles. Bright holds a Master of Business Administration from Nelson Mandela University and an Honours degree in Applied Chemistry from the National University of Science and Technology. At Dunlop Belting Products, he supports customers operating in demanding environments by applying practical technical insight to complex conveyor belting challenges, combining manufacturing knowledge with operational performance requirements across the EMEA region. Beyond his role at Dunlop Belting Products, Bright is actively involved in industry leadership and standards development. He serves as a Director of the Conveyor Manufacturers Association, responsible for belting and indentation rolling resistance testing, and is Chairman of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (IOM3) Northern Branch in South Africa. Bright is also the current chairman of the South African Bureau of Standards’ Technical Committee TC0045 responsible for rubber and rubber products standardisation. He is recognised for his practical, data-driven approach to continuous improvement and sustainable manufacturing performance.
