In Conversation with Minister of Mines and Mining Development, Zimbabwe

Mining Indaba sat down in Cape Town with Hon. Winston Chitando,  Minister of Mines and Mining Development of the Republic of Zimbabwe to discuss the future of Africa’s mining industry. Minister Chitando spoke to us on how strategic partnerships, policy implementation, and investment are changing, driving greater mineral exploration and resource retention towards a sustainable economic growth model.

In addition, Minister Chitando shared how Zimbabwe’s energy initiatives are achieving energy self-sufficiency to support both mining operations and local communities.
